The Magic Theatre's Home Resident Company - Campo Santo marks its 30 years of creating new works with a special, intimate fundraiser event. Campo Santo 30 for 30 - Roots and Writers
Celebrate the 30th anniversary year of the company Campo Santo. Over 150 premiere projects with some of the greatest writers and artists from 1996 to the present.
This special Campo Santo 30 fundraising event is the lone event to mark this monumental legacy in local arts and community hosted by Stanford University’s Vice President of the Arts Deborah Cullinan and Lorraine Hansberry Theatre’s Artistic Director Margo Hall.
The event features live music by KALW’s anchor DJ- Wonway Posibul; and live forum talk with heralded, award-winning writers Luis Alfaro, Naomi Iizuka, and Star Finch.
The evening will also share select preview performances from Campo Santo 30th anniversary premiere productions “a rashomon” by Ashley Smiley, and “Lady Killer” by Luis Alfaro.

7:30pm- Live Dj set from the one DJ Wonway Posibul
8pm- Program featuring talks and special readings, hosted by Deborah Cullinan and Margo Hall, with writers Luis Alfaro, Naomi Iizuka, Star Finch, and Ashley Smiley. Also featuring sharings of brand new works created for the Campo Santo 30th year- from new plays "a rashomon" by Ashley Smiley, and "Lady Killer" by Luis Alfaro, both to premiere at the Magic Theatre in 2026-27.
Pre-Show and Post-Show-hang, talk, kick it, and share the space with Campo Santo Familia with drinks, and some food!
