Stop The Wind Theatricals presents a World Premiere Staged Reading at The Magic Theatre of a new play by Erin Courtney directed by Kate Bergstrom, the Artistic Director of The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis bringing them both to San Francisco to enable the continuation of a long-time artistic collaboration. 

How do we keep going in hard times? ANN FRAN AND MARY ANN prescribes the following: creativity, science, spirituality and connection.  A theatrical chamber piece exploring trauma, intimacy, and the fragile boundaries of the mind, the play takes place in a confined emotional landscape where two neuroscientists and a woman slipping from reality struggle to connect—with each other, with memory, and with something beyond themselves. As science confronts the ineffable, the three search for meaning, healing—and perhaps even God.
